NEW BIKEPARK 1024 INCOMING

Der Bikepark am Ochsenkopf wächst und erweitert sein Angebot deutlich. Neben der rasanten Downhillstrecke für alle, die den Nervenkitzel suchen, entstehen vier neue Flowtrails, drei abwechslungsreiche Singletrails sowie ein zusätzlicher Uphilltrail. Mit insgesamt rund 15 Kilometern neuer Strecken in den Schwierigkeitsgraden leicht und mittel bietet der erweiterte Streckenabschnitt künftig noch mehr Fahrspaß für Einsteiger und Fortgeschrittene. Die Eröffnung der neuen Trails ist für Mitte 2026 geplant. Wer sich den steilen Anstieg sparen möchte, startet ganz entspannt auf 1.024 Metern Höhe. Auf der Südseite gibts zusätzlich spezielle Bike-Tickets (Zeit- und Mehrfahrtentickets). Die Kabinen der Südbahn sind zudem mit komfortablen Fahrradträgern ausgestattet.

Neue Kabinenbahnen am Ochsenkopf

Endlich ist es soweit! Auch die neue Kabinenseilbahn Ochsenkopf Süd in Fleckl wurde termingerecht fertiggestellt und am 6. Dezember 2024 feierlich eröffnet. Nun können Sie auf beiden Seiten des Ochsenkopfs bei unvergesslichen Ausblicken den Komfort und die Geschwindigkeit unserer neuen Einseil-Kabinenumlaufbahnen genießen!

About our Ochsenkopf Mountain

The Ochsenkopf Mountain a must-see in Franconia - 1024 m above the sea level. The second highest mountain in the Fichtelgebirge area can be reached by two ropeways, one at each side of the mountain. It is the highest situated touristic-developed area in Northern Bavaria. Full of adventures and attractions. The Ochsenkopf Mountain is in summer as in winter a place always worth a visit. No matter if you come with your family, on your own, as a sportsman, a local or a tourist - the Ochsenkopf Mountain is always an experience.

The Ochsenkopf mountain is not only an incomparable cross country area. There are the longest ski slopes in northern Bavaria. General condition of Singletrails and hiking trails

The summer season will start on Saturday,28th of March! The new cable cars and the toboggan run Alpine Coaster will be daily open from Saturday, March 28th! The opening for our Single trail / downhill track is expected for Saturday, April 4th (It may depends on how the weather will be in the next days)! Our Mountaincart track is currently closed due to some maintenace work after a long winter season - we need a little patience here. Furthermore, we are starting to build our new bikepark 1024 with 4 new Flowtrails, 3 new Singletrails and one new Uphilltrail what will be an extension of round about 15 km of new trails. The opening is expected for late summer 2026 ride on and stay tuned for more new attractions this summer!
